A French e-commerce site specialising in the retail sale of aquarium items other than fish (such as plants and invertebrates) since 2017 is looking for suppliers of aquarium plants.
As part of a doubling of its sales each year for the past two years, the SME wants to diversify its supply sustainably.
The company is mainly looking for tropical aquarium plants: Echinodorus, Cryptocoryne, Elodea, Egeria, Vesicularia, Taxiphyllum, Hygrophila, Pogostemon, Alternanthera, Riccia, and other floating plants; Vallisneria; Sagittaria; Helanthium; Eleocharis; Hemianthus; Ceratopteris; and Bacopa.
The company is interested in plants in bouquets, in vitro or in pots. Bulk plant supply is also possible.
The SME does not buy any plants that have been taken from the wild.
Initially, the company is looking for 1–2 orders per month to be delivered to a single delivery point in France.
The company is only looking for a supplier agreement with companies based in the EU.

Expected role of a partner
