The company is located in the Ukrainian Carpathians, close to the Romanian and Hungarian borders, and was founded in 2017. It owns extensive apple orchards, including old local varieties that are particularly valuable and well adapted to the region’s climate and soil conditions. This motivated the company to begin producing directly pressed apple juice several years ago. To increase added value and diversify its product portfolio, the company decided to expand into cider production. As with most high-quality food products, premium cider cannot be produced on a fully industrial scale and requires specific bitter and bittersweet apple varieties. For this reason, the company established new orchards and planted selected cider apple varieties originating from England and France, adapted for cultivation under local conditions. The first harvest is now expected, and the company is simultaneously upgrading its knowledge base and production infrastructure to meet industry requirements. The company is seeking to acquire a production license for cider in order to extend its product range offered to customers. To this end, it aims to establish a licensing agreement with experienced cider-producing companies. They should be committed to high quality manufacturing EU standards Expected role of a partner Potential partners should be experienced producers of apple drinks (cider), ideally able to market products to relevant wholesalers, food service companies or premium retailers in their country / territory. Accreditation by the EU global food safety standard would be ideal, but as a minimum they should be committed to high quality manufacturing standards.
