German deep-tech SME with a patented ultra-thin active insulation system seeks seed/impact investors or licensing partners for international expansion. The 26 mm solution replaces up to 300 mm of conventional insulation through infrared reflection technology, making it ideal for space-constrained retrofits and energy-efficient buildings. Production-ready, scalable to 500,000 m²/year and expandable to 2.5 million m²/year, dry-installable, and fully recyclable.
Expected role of a partner:
The company is seeking seed-stage and impact investors (“smart money”) to finance the expansion of its intellectual property portfolio, international market expansion, and the scaling of its production facilities to an annual capacity of more than 2.5 million m².
Ideal partners will contribute not only capital but also strategic networks, legal expertise, and market access in the following areas:
• Municipal and mid-sized building renovation programs
• Serial and modular construction
• Renovation of historic and heritage-protected buildings
• Large real estate developers and ESG-focused property portfolios
Expertise in ESG and impact reporting in accordance with EU Taxonomy standards is particularly valuable to support the company’s growth as a scalable “Smart Builder” enterprise.
The company aims to establish its technology as the leading European standard and future generic brand for reflection-based energy efficiency in construction and renovation applications. The solution has the potential to significantly reduce physical climate risks in real estate portfolios while simultaneously improving energy efficiency and preserving valuable interior space. In doing so, it contributes directly to the long-term value enhancement of assets.
The investment funds will support:
• Expansion of industrial production capacities
• International commercialization and licensing
• Strategic pilot projects across Europe
• Strengthening and protection of IP assets
• Development of a scalable European manufacturing and partner network aligned with the EU Renovation Wave 2030 initiative.
