A Denmark-based foodtech SME developing sugar-free consumer products seeks a certified co-packing partner in the EU to manufacture and package a premium 480 ml sugar-free ice cream using natural sweeteners. Target cooperation types: commercial agreement and outsourcing agreement.
BRDK20250820002
The client develops sugar-free alternatives for retail, with a product portfolio based on natural sweeteners such as erythritol and steviol glycosides and a strategy to extend into frozen desserts. It now plans to launch a 480 ml sugar-free ice cream for EU retail and is looking for a reliable manufacturing partner able to deliver consistent quality, scalable volumes and EU-compliant labeling and shelf-life performance suitable for retail distribution. The partner may either work from the client's proprietary recipes under NDA or co-develop the final formula to meet taste and nutritional targets. Cooperation is envisaged as a long-term co-packing setup with pilot runs followed by scale-up to national and then multi-country distribution.

Ability to produce 480 ml retail tubs with custom branding, tamper-evident sealing, batch coding and retail-ready secondary packaging.
Certified food-safety management (IFS, BRC or equivalent) and full HACCP implementation.
Capability for initial small pilot batches with a clear path to scalable production.
Experience formulating with natural sweeteners (e.g., erythritol and stevia/steviol glycosides) to achieve clean taste, smooth texture, and low sugar.

Expected role of a partner

Co-development support is welcomed to refine recipe, process parameters and sensory profile before scale-up.
