The Design Office designs or co-designs sheet metal parts and welded assemblies (enclosures, cabinets, frames, furniture, or fine sheet metal accessories). As part of this activity, the French company is seeking hardened C75 steel sheets with specific dimensions and a total weight of approximately 400 kg. -The C75 steel must have a hardness of 42 to 44 HRC (Hardness Rockwell C). -The sheet dimensions must be as follows: 310 mm x 2900 mm with a thickness of 3.1 mm. The French company is exclusively seeking partners based in Europe. Collaboration is envisioned within the framework of an outsourcing agreement. Technical Specification or Expertise Sought: The dimensional tolerances for the sheet metal must be as follows : • Thickness: 3.1 mm +/- 0.05 mm • Width: 310 mm +/- 1 mm • Length: 0/- 10 mm The sheet metal must be packaged on a pallet or wooden support weighing no more than 500 kg. Expected role of a partner: The partner could be a company specializing in sheet metal cutting. This type of company receives rolled sheets and cuts them to the required dimensions. This is just one example: the company may also receive proposals from a partner specializing in rolling and cutting its own sheets. Or, a partner specializing in metallurgy with precise sheet metal cutting capabilities.
