The ideal supplier should have experience with sustainable materials, efficient production methods, and advanced prototyping, as well as the ability to deliver small- to medium-scale series with high design precision and consistent quality. Preference is given to EU-based suppliers to ensure compliance with European standards, efficient logistics, and effective collaboration throughout the production process. The partner is expected to manage manufacturing, packaging, and delivery, and provide technical expertise and regulatory compliance. Technical Specification or Expertise Sought • Experience in manufacturing assistive products or toys for children, preferably baby walkers. • Capability to produce small- to medium-scale series with high design precision and consistent quality. • Proficiency in working with wood, sheet metal/aluminum, plastic, and rubber. • Ability to manufacture products with 360-degree swivel wheels and advanced mobility features. • Expertise in advanced prototyping, flexible tooling, and close collaboration during product development. • Knowledge of production optimization, material selection, and cost efficiency. • Experience in packaging design, especially flat-pack solutions for customer assembly. • Regulatory knowledge and ability to obtain necessary certifications and permits. • Well-established logistics infrastructure for inventory management and delivery. • Technical expertise available internally or via subcontractors. • Experience in international trade is an advantage. Expected role of a partner The partner is expected to manufacture and package a durable baby walker that meets the specified criteria for safety, ergonomics, and design. The ideal partner operates in the field of assistive products or toys for children and preferably has experience with furniture or similar products. Tasks include managing production, inventory, and delivery, as well as providing technical expertise and regulatory compliance. The partner should be able to scale production in line with growth and maintain well-established routines for feedback and reporting. Experience in international trade and logistics is beneficial, but not mandatory.
