A French SME specialised in luxury packaging is looking to outsource the assembly of rigid cardboard boxes intended for luxury applications (institutional and promotional boxes).
The selected partner will be responsible for assembling components supplied by the French company, including:
• rigid cardboard structures in greyboard with two white faces (typically 1.4–1.8 mm), supplied flat and ready for corner taping and forming;
• die-cut outer paper wraps (approx. 135–160 g/m²) ready for wrapping and turn-ins;
• depending on projects, die-cut paper inner liners (approx. 135–160 g/m²) and/or pre-cut inserts (flat board, micro-flute or moulded pulp) to be assembled and placed inside the boxes.
Box formats vary widely, ranging approximately from 10 × 10 × 10 cm to 50 × 35 × 15 cm (L × W × H).
Typical constructions include base and lid boxes, shoulder (neck) boxes, drawer boxes with tray, hinged lid boxes, and similar formats.
Expected operations include corner taping and box forming (semi-automatic process acceptable), outer paper gluing and wrapping, and automatic gluing of inner liners on industrial equipment (e.g. Emmeci, Kolbus or equivalent). Additional manual operations may include insert assembly and placement, final packing and palletisation.
Finished products must comply with luxury quality standards, ensuring clean, sharp edges and flawless surfaces (no glue marks, fingerprints, tears, dust, creases, bubbles or scuffing).
Further information regarding the specifications and terms of service will be provided upon request or during discussions
