A French SME based in Lyon and specialized in both Personal Protection Equipment and emergency decontamination solutions dedicated to Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear field. They design and manufacture specific protection gears: overboots, suits, gloves, respiratory protection devices, such as protective mask and canisters. They design the whole protection system to bring the rightful level of protection against CBRN threats. They are able to go beyond the boundaries of the CBRN protection by leading research and development activities on functionalized textiles, reactive materials, decontamination solutions and human factors, to make PPE coverall sets, smarter, more connected, more comfortable for the theyarers and more efficient against CBRN threats. Thus, they have developed the complete solution to protect pilot fighters against CBRN threats on vapour form (below the neck subsystem and above the neck subsystem). This whole protection has been fully qualified by the French Procurement Agency (DGA). They are also able to develop specific solutions to mind the gap bettheyen the current operational capabilities and the expected ones, such as specific extraction bag for CBRN casualties, specific systems to transport biological contagious victims without any cross-contamination during the transport and without using specific PPE for the medical staff. The SME is the good partner for European projects to develop innovative operational solutions to strengthen the level of equipment for the first responders, law enforcement units and defence troops to tackle CBRN threats in a European framework. They made significant contribution for European projects: - EPIDARM: European Protective Individual Defence ARMour, EDA studies to merge ballistic with CBRN protection - NanoMoF: FP7 project, the use of Metal organic Framework in CBRN devices - SAFECOAT : Germany/French R&D project, Solar light-activated photocatalysts and functionalized textiles for self-decontaminating individual equipment - ENCIRCLE: H2020 project to create European network and catalogue for CBRN protection and decontamination solutions - TRANSTUN: European project on chemical risks in underground environments. OUVRY as a CBRN expert and supplier of PPE for the exercise. More recently, the SME is a partner of GUARDIANS (HORIZON CL3-2024-DRS-01-05). The GUARDIANS project brings together an interdisciplinary consortium of 22 partners from 11 EU Member States, covering the full spectrum of radiological and nuclear (RN) emergency preparedness and response. Launched in October 2025 for a duration of four years, the project aims to enhance coordination among EU countries and to support decision-makers, first responders, and receiving authorities during large-scale RN crisis events. The SME is looking for partners to apply for both Horizon Europe (Cluster 3 projects) and European Defence Fund projects. They are able to take part technological breakthrough developments from TRL3 to TRL9 and work on operational concepts to enhance resilience, reactive capabilities and CBRNe level of protection of end users. Advantages and innovations: The French SME is looking for simultaneously proposing performant PPE and a good ability to last on the ground during many hours, both human factors and CBRNe protection. We thus propose air permeable suits, which allow air to penetrate the suits and the sudation to go out by blocking CBRN threats on liquid, aerosol and vapor form. The company is leading research and development activities regarding these following main topics: - functionalized textiles: Reactive materials (self-decontamination, antibacterial materials…), liquid protection without PFAS, aerosol protection, fireproof, antistatic… - decontamination: Neutralization of CBRN agents in liquid form, decontamination of hair, sensitive materials, skin, decontamination of radiological particles… - Carbon filter media, absorbent textiles, smart textiles: remaining service life potential, textiles with state change, immediate liquid decontamination… - hydration devices: process assurance, plastic manufacturing, waterproof materials, antibacterial treatment… - Cross-functional activities PPE: improvement of thermophysiology, air permeability, cognitive assessment, ability to last in the field, interface security, ergonomics, smart PPE, sensor miniaturization, holographic training system: mixed reality, digital twin… Expected role of a partner: The SME would like to join consortium as partners.
