Combining traditional craftsmanship with reliable production standards, the company designs and manufactures a wide range of footwear, from safety and protective footwear to hiking boots, slippers (“charentaises”), and casual or seasonal styles. The company is looking to develop a new brand with imitation leather footwear. All products are made from carefully selected materials and can be customized based on order volume, reflecting the company's commitment to flexibility, durability, and the authenticity of French craftsmanship. The company sells under its own brand and operates exclusively on a B-to-B basis, supplying various types of customers, from shoe stores to supermarkets. The customer network is mainly located in France. The company is seeking European leather and imitation leather shoe manufacturers as part of its strategy to insource production within EU territory, aiming to reduce transportation costs and lead times. The final goal is to improve and bring more agility to its supply chain management, without compromising on product quality or price. Technical Specification or Expertise Sought The manufacturer should have expertise in producing quality leather shoes, based on existing models or models designed by our specialists. They should be able to source or produce comfort outsoles. The manufacturer should be able to involve in the manufacturing process other materials than leather (for comfort, design, certification means) Expected role of a partner The manufacturer should be able to produce samples for design validation and commercial prospection, within a couple of weeks after reception of the design. The manufacturer will have the capacity to source the relevant quality materials to produce the ordered quantities by models and sizes within the 40 days following the reception of official order. The manufacturer will not require Minimum Order Quantity for the production orders.
