With over 50 years of experience in forestry - from working with chainsaws to following the evolution of modern machines - comes a deep understanding of how essential sharp chains are for high-quality work. To ensure the best results, the company uses wet grinding with one of the latest sharpening machines. The studies show that sharp chains can reduce fuel consumption by at least 6% — which benefits both the economy and the environment. The company spezialises in sharpening chains for forestry machines but when the chains are too worn to sharpen, the company makes new ones by cutting chain spools/rolls to the right length — depending on whether the customer is doing final felling or thinning. The company is currently looking for suppliers of high-quality chain spools/rolls for both forestry machines and chainsaws. -For forestry machines, spools/rolls with dimensions 0.404" and 2 mm, along with the right connecting links to assemble them. -For chainsaws, spools/rolls with dimensions 0.325" and 1.3 mm, also with matching connecting links. In Sweden, there are several chain brands like Stihl, Carlton, and Harvester where Stihl is the most expensive and the 0.404" / 2 mm size is standard across brands. Since the company sharpens chainsaw chains and is is interested in buying pre-made chains in the future too, they are especially interested in finding 0.325" / 1.3 mm rolls to make new chains at a better price than what’s currently available.
